I started learning guitar and that made me feel awesome. I was on cloud nine the day I played my favourite song on guitar for the first time, though it sounded horrible. Soon it seemed boring to me. Sitting, doing warm-up exercise, then playing that horrible tune, that was tough for me to learn.
I gave up playing guitar, I gave up learning. After a gap of 3 months I realised I am in love with Guitar again and then I started learning it systematically. I played basic tunes daily for 3 months, the learners sessions, rather than jumping to the tough chords of my favourite song.
AND the day came, I played it in front of friends. "Awesome," they said, though just to keep me motivated as that tune was not that great. But still I improvised, that made me feel good, though for 2 minutes of stardom.
